Parasite

Parasite is found within Skylight Cave. The Stand appears to be bound to the cave itself. The sentience bound to the cave by Apashe in his fight against Dianthus has an immense resentment for the living. Thus, the cave will attack anyone that enters it.

APPEARANCE

Parasite entities first manifest as slimy, gelatinous, ochre colored sacks with sickly green spots. The entity within will hatch after several seconds of gestation.

Parasite's entities appear as robotic worms 1" in length. The worms have a silver finish and beady yellow eyes.

ABILITY

Each parasite will seek out objects and burrow into them. A small hole is left behind where the Stand entered the object. Once inside an object it lies dormant.

Parasites view the world through object-penetrating heat vision. Though their intelligence is very low, they are able to recognize humans through their body temperature. As Stand users have elevated body temperatures, those actively using their Stand often are the primary target.

When a parasite detects a nearby human, it consumes itself to cause an explosion of energy. The explosion flings the object at the target with immense force.

Parasite was inspired by the moth larva that create Mexican Jumping Beans.
