APPEARANCE
[edit | edit source]Closing Time is a slim, feminine humanoid Stand. Half of its face is obscured by a bronze mask, and a similar bronze pauldron protects its right shoulder. The Stand wears a long black skirt with blue gems adoring the legs. The Stand wears a black crop top vest with blue cables coming out of the back.
ABILITIES
[edit | edit source]Change Ubiety
[edit | edit source]Closing Time can alter the ubiety (the state of being placed in a definite local relation) of living and nonliving things.
- When touching a living target, Closing Time can alter their ubiety and return them to a past location. The amount of time the Stand is able to send a target back is proportional to how long the Stand makes contact with them.
- When touching a non-living target the Stand may alter its state (ie. condition) as well as position.
Past Sight
[edit | edit source]Sophie Davis can follow the echoes of a non-living object's prior ubiety to see its previous positions/states playing back in reverse. The longer the Stand maintains contact with the target object, the further back in the object's ubiety timeline the user is able to see.
Ubiety Forward
[edit | edit source]Closing Time can age living and non-living things- similar to changing past states. Closing Time can also cause an object to move forward through intent.
Alter Self
[edit | edit source]This ability developed in Scarlet River session 11 lets Sophie Davis use Closing Time fully on herself. This not only adjusts her ubiety, but also her State. Doing so allows her to revert grievous injuries.
REQUIEM
[edit | edit source]Sophie evolved Closing Time by putting the Requiem Ring on her Stand's finger during session 13 of Scarlet River.
Closing Time Requiem allows Sophie to erase the ubiety of whatever she touches. This removes them from the universe as if they had never existed. Notably, this ability was used to erase Apashe from existence during their battle in Scarlet River session 13.
